Here, at the Leaky PMod, I a Runescape Player Moderator, feel like leaking some of Jagex's secrets! Just check the blog every few days for information. I'm not gonna tell you of any PMod events, but I'll tell you things you can't find out on the website.

What is a PMod?

AHHHHH! Should have said this first. . . Sigh. . .

A PMod (Player Moderator), is sort of like a Runescape cop. They have special tools to help them (us) enforce the rules. That's mainly what this blog is about, the tools we, pmods, use.

The Basics

If you want to become a Mod, be good, report people when they are offensive, and don't break the rules. You're not gonna become a mod if you have some crazy name like "hotst00f77713"

What's new ingame? Muting.
When you click report abuse, you have the option to mute for 48 hours. Also, you can click on people and under follow and trade and stuff, report. An extra feature. Also, you can report from the chat box. When you click on the report option, the report box comes up with their name already typed in. Just have to select the correct options.

It seems a lot of people have been confused as to where the P-Mod Centre now resides.

We did post a guide to finding the new location on the Procedures Forum (in the thread titled "RuneScape HD Launch!"), however, if you didn't log in to check that first, I can imagine it being quite confusing! It can be found quickly and easily using the following steps:

• Search "moderator" in the search bar.
  
• Select the top link.
  
• Click the link at the top of the page that says "If you are a Player Moderator, please click here to visit the Player Moderator Centre".

Then simply bookmark that page for easy future access.

I hope that all makes sense.
